How much does luxury car rental in Mumbai cost?

Mumbai fares sit about ten per cent above Delhi's because duty hours stretch further here: a 20 km trip can take ninety minutes in the monsoon. The numbers below are what you would plan with for a pickup in the island city or the western suburbs; the booker confirms the final figure once it knows your address.

GST at 5% is added on top. Sea Link, Coastal Road and Atal Setu tolls, parking at hotels and venues, and any state entry permit on an outstation run are charged exactly as paid. If a trip runs past its package, extra kilometres are billed at the class rate in the last column.

Mumbai luxury fares by model, including the 12-hour day

Rates checked September 2026. Most Mumbai enquiries name a model, not a class, so here is every car we place in the city with its full-day and long-day price, the cost of running over, and the kind of Mumbai job it suits.

A Mumbai working day rarely ends on time, which is why the 12 hr / 120 km column matters more here than anywhere else. It is calculated as the 8-hour fare multiplied by 1.5, plus 40 km at the car's per-km rate: Rs 68,490 Pay Now to Reserve for an E-Class, Rs 1,03,050 Pay Now to Reserve for a Range Rover-class SUV, Rs 97,500 Pay Now to Reserve for a Vellfire and Rs 1,71,600 Pay Now to Reserve for an S-Class. If you have booked the 8-hour package and overrun, each additional hour costs one-eighth of the day fare (Rs 5,160 Pay Now to Reserve in an E-Class) and each additional kilometre the class rate.

Worked Mumbai examples, all before 5% GST:

• A BKC deal day that slips into dinner. E-Class booked for 8 hr / 80 km from a Colaba hotel, released at 10:30 pm after 11 hours and 71 km: Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve + 3 extra hours at Rs 5,160 = Rs 56,730 Pay Now to Reserve. Had the long-day package been booked up front, the bill would have been Rs 68,490 Pay Now to Reserve but with 120 km of headroom; for a short-distance, long-hours day, the overrun route is cheaper.
• A two-location film day. Vellfire on 12 hr / 120 km from Juhu to a Film City set in Goregaon and back via a Bandra dubbing studio: Rs 97,500 Pay Now to Reserve, plus parking at the studio gates.
• A South Mumbai wedding exit. S-Class on the 4 hr / 40 km package at Rs 63,360 Pay Now to Reserve for the couple's departure from a Colaba ballroom to a Worli hotel, Sea Link toll added at cost.

Choosing the car for Mumbai's roads

The city punishes the wrong choice. Low saloons scrape on speed breakers in Bandra's lanes, big SUVs struggle to turn into Kala Ghoda's side streets, and anything without strong air-conditioning is a mistake between March and June. Here is how clients in Mumbai usually decide.

Pickup areas across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai

Airport runs: CSMIA terminals and Navi Mumbai

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has two terminals: T2 at Sahar handles international and most domestic flights, while T1 at Santacruz serves some domestic carriers. Not every VIP arrives by air. Mumbai's long-distance trains terminate at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at Kurla, and a growing number of travellers arrive by cruise ship at the international cruise terminal on the Ballard Pier side of the port. Each has its own pickup habits:

• June to September. Heavy rain can flood Hindmata, Andheri subway and parts of the Western Express Highway service road. We lean towards SUVs for important monsoon bookings and pad airport timings.
