A BMW car on rent from RutzIndia.com always comes with a chauffeur: a 5 Series for the working day, an X7 for the family or the hills, or a 7 Series when the passenger in the back seat is the reason for the trip. You choose airport, hourly or outstation, see the fare in rupees, pay by card or UPI, and a clean, late-model BMW arrives at the time you set, with a driver who handles that car every week.
BMW car on rent: fares for 2026
Renting a BMW 5 Series with chauffeur costs Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve for an airport transfer of up to 40 km, Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve for 4 hours and 40 km, and Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve for 8 hours and 80 km in Delhi, or Rs 165.6 per km outstation. The X7 starts at Rs 31,350 Pay Now to Reserve and the 7 Series at Rs 52,800 per airport run. Add 5% GST.
BMWs sit inside our standard luxury classes, which keeps the pricing honest: the 5 Series shares the luxury sedan fare with the Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6, the X7 shares the luxury SUV fare with the Range Rover and GLS, and the 7 Series shares the flagship fare with the S-Class. Ask for "BMW" in the booking notes and the desk confirms the marque before payment. If a BMW is not free in your city at that hour, you are offered the class equivalent and told so in advance.
| Package | BMW 5 Series | BMW X7 | BMW 7 Series |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport transfer, up to 40 km | Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 31,350 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 52,800 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Half day, 4 hr / 40 km | Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 34,200 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 57,600 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Full day, 8 hr / 80 km | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 57,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Outstation, per km | Rs 170 | Rs 230 | Rs 330 |
| Mumbai full day (x1.10) | Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 62,700 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 1,05,600 Pay Now to Reserve |
The first four rows are base-city figures that apply in Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai. Local and airport fares are adjusted by city: Mumbai and Goa add 10%, Bangalore adds 5%, and Jaipur, Kolkata and Chandigarh are 5% lower. Outstation per-km rates are national. None of the figures include GST at 5%, tolls, parking or state permits, which are billed at actual cost. On journeys that keep the chauffeur away from home overnight, his allowance of Rs 1,500 per night is added, and round trips outstation are billed on at least 250 km for each calendar day.

BMW rates by model: Delhi and Mumbai side by side
Most BMW enquiries come from the two biggest cities, so here are both, with the overrun charges that decide what a long day really costs. Extra kilometres beyond the package are billed at the model's outstation rate; extra hours at one-eighth of the base-city 8-hour fare (in Mumbai the hourly figure rises by the same 10% as the package).
| BMW | Full day Delhi | Full day Mumbai | Airport Delhi | Airport Mumbai | Each extra km | Each extra hour, Delhi |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 Series sedan | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 22,710 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 170 | Rs 4,690 Pay Now to Reserve |
| X7 SUV | Rs 57,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 62,700 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 31,350 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 34,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 230 | Rs 7,130 Pay Now to Reserve |
| 7 Series flagship | Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 1,05,600 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 52,800 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 58,080 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 330 | Rs 12,000 Pay Now to Reserve |
Here is how an overrun works in practice. A Mumbai 5 Series day that stretches to nine hours and 95 km costs the Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve package, plus one extra hour at Rs 5,160 (one-eighth of the Mumbai day, rounded) and 15 extra kilometres at Rs 170 (Rs 2,470): Rs 48,880 Pay Now to Reserve before GST, tolls and parking. The chauffeur notes the start and end readings with you, and the booker shows the same numbers on the invoice. The general BMW article is a useful background read on the brand's model line-up if you are choosing between body styles.
The three BMWs we rent and who each one suits
BMW 5 Series: the executive's car
The 5 Series is the everyday luxury choice for business travel. It is comfortable for two or three adults in the rear, has a boot for two large bags, and is quiet enough for calls. Visiting executives, consultants on client days and anyone who wants something a clear step above a premium sedan tend to book it on the 8 hr/80 km package.
BMW X7: space, height and bad roads
The X7 seats five in real comfort with luggage behind, which is why families arriving for a holiday or a wedding choose it. Its ride height and air suspension also make it the more relaxed BMW for hill drives from Chandigarh or Dehradun, for farmhouse approaches and for monsoon streets where water collects at the kerb.
BMW 7 Series: the rear seat is the point
The 7 Series is chosen for the person in the back: a chairman, a chief guest, a senior relative. It is the car for a board day, a hotel-to-gala evening or an airport welcome where the arrival matters. At Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve for the full day in Delhi, it is priced exactly like the Mercedes S-Class, so the choice between them is one of taste.

BMW on rent in Delhi
Most BMW bookings in the capital begin at IGI Airport Terminal 3, an Aerocity hotel, or a Lutyens' Delhi or Chanakyapuri address, and many run on to Gurgaon's Cyber City, Golf Course Road or the Noida expressway. A 5 Series airport transfer at Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve covers up to 40 km, which reaches most of South Delhi and Gurgaon; further kilometres are charged at Rs 170 each. Plan around the traffic: the Delhi to Gurgaon stretch is slow in the morning and evening peaks, and dense winter fog from December to early February can hold flights and slow the drive. The Delhi airport taxi page explains where cars meet passengers at each terminal, and the luxury car rental in Delhi page covers every luxury class in the city.
BMW on rent in Mumbai
In Mumbai, the 10% city multiplier makes a 5 Series Rs 22,710 Pay Now to Reserve for an airport transfer, Rs 24,750 Pay Now to Reserve for 4 hours and Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve for a full day. Typical bookings link the Sahar international terminal with South Mumbai hotels, Bandra Kurla Complex offices and Juhu, often over the sea link, whose toll is passed on at cost. Many travellers keep the BMW for a one-way run to Pune, about 150 km, which in a 5 Series is 150 x Rs 170 = Rs 24,750 Pay Now to Reserve before GST and the expressway toll; see Mumbai to Pune taxi. During the monsoon, allow generous time for any airport pickup. The Mumbai airport taxi and luxury car rental in Mumbai pages have the local detail.

BMW on rent in other cities
In Bangalore the 5 Series costs Rs 39,370 Pay Now to Reserve for the full day with the 5% city multiplier, useful for the long Kempegowda airport run and the Whitefield and Outer Ring Road tech parks; see luxury car rental in Bangalore. Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai are priced at the base rate. In Jaipur and Chandigarh a full day is Rs 35,630 Pay Now to Reserve. In Goa, where BMWs are mostly booked for villa stays and weddings, the full day is Rs 41,250 Pay Now to Reserve. If a BMW has to be positioned from a nearby metro, the desk tells you what that adds before you confirm.
Half day or full day: picking the right BMW package
The 4 hr/40 km half day and the 8 hr/80 km full day look simple, but choosing the wrong one is the most common way people overpay. A few rules of thumb from how BMW bookings actually run:
- One meeting and back fits the half day, as long as the meeting is under two hours and the office is within about 15 km of the pickup. In Delhi traffic, a Connaught Place to Gurgaon meeting can eat the whole four hours on its own.
- Two or more stops, or any lunch, almost always tips into the full day. At Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve against Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve for a 5 Series, the full day is less than double the price for twice the time and kilometres.
- An airport pickup followed by a day of meetings is best booked as two items: the airport transfer, then a full day starting at the first meeting. That avoids the clock running while the flight is delayed.
- Evenings out (a dinner, a concert, a reception) are well suited to the half day, because the car waits at the venue rather than driving.
Time and distance beyond the package are billed pro rata at the same class rate, and the chauffeur notes the reading with you at the end so there is no argument later.
A sample business day in a BMW 5 Series
Here is how a typical Delhi booking prices out. A visiting director lands at Terminal 3 at 7 am on an international flight. The 5 Series airport transfer to an Aerocity hotel costs Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve. At 10 am the same car begins a full day: meetings in Connaught Place, lunch in Chanakyapuri, an afternoon at Cyber City in Gurgaon, and a return to Aerocity by 6 pm, within 80 km. That day costs Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve. Total: Rs 58,140 Pay Now to Reserve before 5% GST, plus parking and any toll at cost, on a single invoice.
Now the same shape of day for a chairman in Mumbai, in a 7 Series. The international pickup at Sahar costs Rs 58,080 Pay Now to Reserve with the city multiplier. A full day in South Mumbai and BKC the next morning costs Rs 1,05,600 Pay Now to Reserve. If the evening dinner at Worli runs an hour past the package, that hour adds Rs 13,200 Pay Now to Reserve (one-eighth of the Mumbai day). Total: Rs 1,76,880 Pay Now to Reserve before GST, with sea link tolls and hotel parking added at cost. Knowing these numbers in advance is the whole point of a fixed-fare booking: the travel desk can approve the plan before the guest lands.
BMW on rent in Gurgaon and Noida
A large share of Delhi NCR's BMW bookings never touch Delhi proper. In Gurgaon, the pickups are Cyber City, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road offices and the hotels along NH-48; the 8 hr/80 km day usually covers a round of meetings plus an airport drop, because Terminal 3 is close. Gurgaon is priced at the Delhi base rate, so the 5 Series is Rs 37,500 a day. See taxi service in Gurgaon for local timings and the Cyber Hub traffic pattern. In Noida, where the local multiplier is 0.97, a 5 Series day is Rs 36,370 Pay Now to Reserve; pickups cluster around Sector 18, Film City and the expressway office towers, and the new Jewar airport is now part of the conversation for flights from the eastern side of NCR. Our taxi service in Noida page covers the sectors and the expressway.
5 Series, E-Class or A6: which to choose
All three share the luxury sedan fare, so the decision is about feel rather than money:
- BMW 5 Series. The most driver-focused of the three, with a firm, composed ride and a cabin that feels modern and technical. Passengers who like a quiet, planted car on the expressway tend to prefer it.
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Softer and more classical, with a rear seat many people find the most relaxing on broken city roads. It remains the default executive car in Indian corporate travel. Compare on Mercedes on rent.
- Audi A6. Understated and calm, with a clean, minimalist interior. It is a favourite for clients who prefer not to arrive in the most obvious badge. Compare on Audi on rent.
If you have no preference, book the class and let the desk assign the best-condition car available at your time. If you do, write the marque in the notes and it will be confirmed before payment.
BMW on expressways and in the hills
A BMW with a chauffeur makes long drives far more restful, and each model has its best road. The 5 Series and 7 Series are at their best on smooth, fast highways: the Mumbai to Pune expressway, the Yamuna Expressway to Agra, the Delhi to Jaipur expressway sections and the Bangalore to Mysore highway. On these runs, the per-km rate applies from pickup to drop, and the car's quiet cabin lets you work or sleep. The X7 is the right BMW when the road climbs or deteriorates. Its extra ground clearance and all-wheel drive make the Chandigarh to Shimla climb, the Dehradun to Mussoorie road and farmhouse approaches in the monsoon much more comfortable. In the snow season, roughly December to February, some upper hill roads may need chains or be closed, and the chauffeur will follow police and local advisories rather than push on. For longer hill trips, the Himachal taxi service page describes the routes and permits.
Long-term and monthly BMW hire
Some clients need a BMW for weeks rather than days: a visiting executive on a three-month project, a family relocating while their own car is shipped, or a production running across a season. For these, the daily package is replaced by a monthly arrangement with a fixed number of days and kilometres, one regular chauffeur and a single monthly GST invoice. The structure, and how it compares with hiring a driver for your own car, is explained on monthly car rental with driver. Quotes for a monthly 5 Series, X7 or 7 Series come in writing after the desk understands the usage pattern.
Chauffeur-driven BMW versus self-drive
People sometimes search for a self-drive BMW and end up booking a chauffeur. The comparison below explains why, using only the facts of how each option works.
| Question | Chauffeur-driven BMW (RutzIndia.com) | Self-drive luxury rental |
|---|---|---|
| Who drives in city traffic? | A chauffeur who drives this car every week | You |
| Parking at meetings and hotels | Chauffeur waits or circles; you step out at the door | You find and pay for parking, then walk |
| Security deposit | None beyond the fare | Usually a large refundable deposit |
| Damage liability on a scrape | Handled by the operator | Typically the renter's, up to the policy excess |
| Highway fatigue on a 300 km day | None for you | Yours |
| Price shown before booking | Fixed rupee fare plus tolls and parking at cost | Day rate plus fuel, tolls, parking, deposit |
Self-drive suits a confident driver who wants the experience of driving a BMW on an empty road. For business days, airport runs, weddings and family trips, a chauffeur is usually both calmer and cheaper once deposits and parking are counted.
Road trips in a BMW with a driver
Outstation BMW hire is billed per kilometre from pickup to drop, so any route can be priced in advance. Some examples, before GST and tolls:
- Delhi to Agra and back in a day in an X7, about 466 km: 466 x Rs 230 = Rs 1,04,850 Pay Now to Reserve. The Delhi to Agra taxi page covers the Yamuna Expressway and Taj Mahal timings.
- Bangalore to Mysore one way in a 5 Series, about 145 km: 145 x Rs 170 = Rs 23,930 Pay Now to Reserve. See Bangalore to Mysore taxi.
- Chandigarh to Shimla one way in an X7, about 115 km: at Rs 225.6 per km the run falls under the X7 floor, so it is Rs 29,790 Pay Now to Reserve (minimum fare applies), with hill-driving care on the climb. See Chandigarh to Shimla taxi.
Highway tolls are collected through FASTag; the national highways authority lists plazas and rules on nhai.gov.in. For multi-day tours, the minimum of 250 km per calendar day on round trips and the chauffeur's nightly allowance apply.
What comes with the car, and what does not
Included: the chauffeur, fuel for the package kilometres, a cabin cleaned before every trip, drinking water, and for airport pickups, flight tracking with a name board. After an international arrival the chauffeur waits 60 minutes without charge, after a domestic arrival 30 minutes; longer waits are billed at the package's hourly rate. Every BMW is within four model years.
Not included: tolls, parking, interstate permits and the overnight allowance, all charged at cost. We do not rent BMWs for self-drive. If you would like to read up on current BMW models and specifications before choosing, the BMW Group India press site is the official source.
Meeting a BMW at the airport: step by step
Airport pickups are the single most common BMW booking, and the process is the same in every city we serve:
- Share the flight number, not just the time. The desk tracks the flight, so an early landing or a two-hour delay moves the pickup automatically and you are not billed for the airline's lateness within the free window.
- Chauffeur assignment by the evening before. You receive the chauffeur's name and the car number with your confirmation update, so you know exactly which BMW to look for.
- Name board at arrivals. The chauffeur waits at the arrivals exit or the designated pickup lane with a board showing your name or your company's. At Delhi Terminal 3 and Mumbai's Terminal 2, cars cannot idle at the kerb for long, so he meets you on foot and walks you to the car.
- Free waiting. Sixty minutes after an international landing and thirty after a domestic one, to cover immigration, baggage and customs. Beyond that, waiting is billed at the model's hourly rate.
- Luggage and water. Bags go in the boot; chilled water is in the car. If you need a local SIM card, currency exchange or a pharmacy stop on the way, say so and the chauffeur will build it into the route.
- Drop and invoice. At the hotel or home, the chauffeur unloads, the trip closes, and the GST invoice follows by email.
For groups arriving together, pair the BMW with an Innova or a Tempo Traveller for luggage. The Bangalore airport taxi page describes the long Kempegowda run, where a BMW's comfort matters most over an hour-long drive.
Who books a BMW with a driver, and how they use it
Patterns repeat across cities. Consulting and audit teams book the 5 Series for client weeks, usually on 8-hour days with the same chauffeur throughout, because consistency saves time every morning. Families returning from abroad for a wedding or a festival take the X7 from the airport and keep it for the visit, often with an outstation day to a temple town or a hill station. Hotels and event managers book the 7 Series for guests of honour and for award nights, where a chauffeur-driven flagship is part of the hospitality. And production houses book BMWs as picture cars for advertising and music shoots, where the colour and model year are specified in advance. In the plains, demand peaks from October to March, with the Diwali and New Year weeks the tightest; in Pune, Chennai and Bangalore the pattern is steadier through the year, driven by business travel. Our luxury car rental in Pune and luxury car rental in Chennai pages list the other luxury classes available in those cities if a BMW is fully committed on your date.
The chauffeur and the car on the day
BMW bookings are assigned to chauffeurs who know the cars: how to set the rear climate zone, how to adjust rear seats and sunblinds where fitted, and how to pair a passenger's phone to the audio for a call if asked. They dress formally, open rear doors from outside, load luggage themselves, and keep their own phone for navigation and the desk only. Before every trip the car is cleaned inside and out and checked for tyre condition and air conditioning performance. Every BMW is within four model years; the registration year can be checked on the Parivahan portal once the car number is shared with your confirmation.
Booking, invoices and cancellation
Use the online booker for single trips; send multi-car or multi-day plans through the contact page or WhatsApp the desk for a written quote. Card and UPI payments are accepted, and every booking produces a 5% GST invoice, which suits companies and travel desks; regular users can move to monthly billing via corporate car rental. The cancellation policy is simple: no fee when you cancel more than 72 hours before the pickup time; a 10% fee inside 72 hours; 50% inside 48 hours; the full fare inside 24 hours or for a no-show.
Considering other marques in the same class? Compare Mercedes on rent and Audi on rent, or read the BMW wedding car page if the booking is for a ceremony.
