Luxury car rental in Delhi is rarely about the car alone. It is about arriving at Chanakyapuri without a crease in the suit, collecting a chairman at Terminal 3 at two in the morning, or placing a bride in the back of a Rolls-Royce at a Chhatarpur farmhouse while four hundred phones are raised. RutzIndia.com rents Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Range Rover, Toyota Vellfire and Rolls-Royce cars in Delhi with a trained chauffeur, a fixed fare you see before you pay, and a desk that answers when the plan changes.
Luxury car rental Delhi: what it costs in 2026
A chauffeur-driven luxury car in Delhi costs about Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve for 8 hours / 80 km in a Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or Audi A6, Rs 57,000 Pay Now to Reserve in a GLS, X7, Q7 or Range Rover, Rs 54,000 Pay Now to Reserve in a Vellfire and Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve in an S-Class or 7 Series. IGI airport transfers start at Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve. Fares are before 5% GST.
Those are planning fares for pickups anywhere in Delhi, including Aerocity, Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, South Extension and the New Delhi Municipal Council area. Gurgaon and Noida pickups are priced the same way, but the kilometre meter starts at your address, so a Golf Course Road collection heading to Connaught Place uses a fair slice of the 80 km allowance before the meeting even begins. The booker shows the exact figure for your pickup point and time.
| Luxury class (Delhi) | 4 hr / 40 km | 8 hr / 80 km | IGI airport transfer | Outstation per km |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 | Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 170 |
| Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, Audi Q7, Range Rover | Rs 34,200 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 57,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 31,350 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 230 |
| Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival Limousine | Rs 32,400 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 54,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 29,700 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 210 |
| Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series | Rs 57,600 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 52,800 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 330 |
| Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom, Bentley, Maybach | On request | On request | On request | On request |
Every figure above excludes 5% GST. Toll plazas, interstate permits and parking are passed on at what they actually cost, with no mark-up. Airport transfers cover up to 40 km; anything beyond is charged at the per-kilometre rate of the class you booked. For a corporate account the invoice carries your GSTIN so the input credit can be claimed.

Model-by-model luxury car fares in Delhi for 2026
Fares updated September 2026. The table below breaks the classes into the individual models Delhi clients actually ask for by name, and adds the two numbers most price lists hide: what an extra kilometre costs and what an extra hour costs once a package runs over. The middle column is our honest view of where each car earns its fee in the capital.
| Model | Typical Delhi job | 8 hr / 80 km | 12 hr / 120 km | Extra km | Extra hour | Airport transfer (40 km) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz E-Class (long wheelbase) | Ministry and embassy calls in Lutyens' Delhi | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 62,850 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 170 | Rs 4,680 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve |
| BMW 5 Series (long wheelbase) | Aerocity delegations and Gurgaon board days | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 62,850 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 170 | Rs 4,680 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 20,640 Pay Now to Reserve |

| Rolls-Royce, Bentley or Maybach | Baraat hero car and anniversary drives | On request | On request | On request | On request | On request |
How the longer day works: the 12 hr / 120 km package is priced as one and a half times the 8-hour fare plus 40 km at the class rate, so an E-Class long day in Delhi is Rs 62,850 Pay Now to Reserve and an S-Class long day Rs 1,57,200 Pay Now to Reserve. Outside a package, every additional kilometre is charged at the class per-km rate and every additional hour at one-eighth of the 8-hour fare, which is Rs 4,680 Pay Now to Reserve for the executive saloons and Rs 12,000 Pay Now to Reserve for the flagships. Whichever limit you cross first, time or distance, is the one that is billed.
Three Delhi bills worked out, before 5% GST:
- A Chanakyapuri embassy day that stretches. E-Class booked for 8 hr / 80 km, returned after 10 hours and 92 km: Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve + 2 hours at Rs 4,680 Pay Now to Reserve + 12 km at Rs 170 = Rs 48,840 Pay Now to Reserve, plus any parking receipts.
- A December farmhouse wedding night. Range Rover for the parents on a 12 hr / 120 km package: Rs 94,500 Pay Now to Reserve. If the pheras run late and the car is released at 13 hours, one extra hour at Rs 7,140 is added.
- A late IGI arrival for a chairman. S-Class airport transfer to Golf Links, within 40 km: Rs 52,800 Pay Now to Reserve, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the international landing already built in.
The Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster row is there for a reason. They are not luxury badges, but for a budget-conscious hill run or a security detail's back-up car they do the job at a fraction of the cost; see Fortuner on rent. Clients who want a British saloon rather than a German one can ask about the Jaguar on rent desk, and those who simply want a discreet black executive car rather than a named marque should look at our black car limo service.
Which luxury car to rent in Delhi, and for what
Delhi is a city of distances and of protocol. The car you choose signals as much as it transports, and each class suits a different job.
Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or Audi A6
The long-wheelbase executive saloon is the workhorse of luxury hire in the capital. Rear legroom in the Indian-market long-wheelbase E-Class is generous enough to work on a laptop between Aerocity and Barakhamba Road, and the car is discreet enough for ministry visits where arriving in something louder would be read the wrong way. Most board-level travel, embassy appointments and hotel-to-venue shuttles for visiting executives are booked in this class. See the Mercedes car on rent, BMW car on rent and Audi car on rent pages for model notes.
Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series
When the passenger is the principal rather than the delegate, the flagship saloon is the usual answer. Reclining rear seats, rear climate control and a quiet cabin matter on the forty-minute crawl from IGI to Lutyens' Delhi in evening traffic. These cars are also popular for the groom's arrival where a Rolls-Royce feels too theatrical.
Range Rover, Mercedes GLS, BMW X7 or Audi Q7
Luxury SUVs earn their place on Delhi roads that are rarely smooth for long: the ramp at a Mehrauli farmhouse, the gravel drive of a Sainik Farms bungalow, the monsoon underpasses that flood near Minto Road. They carry five in comfort and more luggage than a saloon, which makes them the default for families arriving at T3 with international baggage. Our Range Rover on rent page covers the Vogue and Sport differences.
Toyota Vellfire
The Vellfire is the quiet star of Delhi's wedding and film circuit: captain seats that recline almost flat, a sliding door that suits a bride in a heavy lehenga, and room for a stylist in the third row. Details on the Vellfire on rent page.
Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach
The ultra-luxury tier is quoted per booking because availability in the capital tightens sharply between November and February. A Ghost or Phantom for a baraat, an anniversary or a brand launch is arranged through the Rolls-Royce on rent desk. Cars in this tier may be up to seven model years old; every other car we place is within four model years.

Where Delhi hires luxury cars: hotels, embassies and farmhouses
Knowing the ground is half the service. A few patterns shape almost every luxury booking in the city.
- Aerocity and IGI Terminal 3. The hotel cluster beside the airport hosts most visiting delegations. Chauffeurs stage in the hotel porches rather than at the terminal kerb, then move to arrivals once the flight is on blocks, which keeps waiting charges down and avoids circling the forecourt.
- Chanakyapuri, Diplomatic Enclave and Lutyens' Delhi. Embassies, high commissions and the older five-star hotels on Sardar Patel Marg and Mansingh Road sit here. Security checks at some gates mean the chauffeur needs the guest's name and the host office in advance; tell us when you book.
- Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi. The two big convention centres, at Pragati Maidan and in Dwarka Sector 25, draw heavy summit and trade-fair traffic. Drop-off lanes close early during high-security events, so we plan pickups at a named gate.
- Chhatarpur, Mehrauli, Kapashera and Bijwasan farmhouses. The capital's wedding belt. Narrow lanes, unlit approaches and a hundred cars jostling for one gate are normal on a December night, which is why the chauffeur walks the venue in daylight whenever timings allow.
- Gurgaon's Golf Course Road and Cyber City. Corporate headquarters that feed daily executive travel into Delhi. The Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway and the newer Dwarka Expressway both carry tolls or access charges that are billed at actual cost.
For a sense of what the city offers visitors between meetings, the Delhi Tourism site lists monuments, heritage walks and seasonal festivals. Terminal information, arrival halls and airport rules are published on the Delhi Airport website.
IGI airport arrivals in a luxury car
VIP arrivals are the single largest reason people rent a luxury car in Delhi. The routine is simple and it works because nothing about it is improvised.
- You share the flight number when you book. The desk tracks the flight so that an early landing or a two-hour delay moves the chauffeur, not you.
- The chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board. For international arrivals the first 60 minutes after landing are free, which covers immigration and the long baggage belts at T3; for domestic flights it is 30 minutes. After that, waiting is billed at the hourly rate shown in the booker.
- Bags go into the boot, water and tissues are in the rear, and the car heads out on NH 48 or the Dwarka Link Road depending on traffic.
For simple point-to-point rides the airport taxi in Delhi page lists sedan and SUV transfers at lower fares. Book the luxury class when the passenger, the luggage or the occasion calls for it.

Weddings, shoots and events in the capital
The Delhi wedding season runs from the auspicious dates after Dev Uthani Ekadashi in November through February, with a second, smaller wave in April and May. During those weeks a Rolls-Royce or S-Class can be booked for the same evening by three different families, so the earlier you confirm, the better your choice.
Typical wedding bookings we arrange in Delhi:
- A flagship saloon or Rolls-Royce for the groom's arrival, often for a short 4 hr / 40 km window, with floral decoration quoted separately.
- A Vellfire for the bride and her stylist on the day, parked at the venue on standby.
- A convoy of E-Class cars to move the immediate families between the hotel and the mandap.
- Innova Crysta and Tempo Traveller shuttles for guests, arranged alongside so that one desk manages the whole movement. The Tempo Traveller in Delhi and Innova Crysta on rent in Delhi pages cover those fares.
The full wedding planning checklist, including vintage cars, sits on our wedding car rental in Delhi page. Film units and brand teams shooting around India Gate, Sunder Nursery or the Qutub precinct book luxury cars both as picture vehicles and as talent transport; permissions for filming at protected monuments are the production's responsibility.
Outstation in luxury: Agra, Jaipur and the hills
A luxury car does not have to stay inside the Ring Road. Round trips are billed per kilometre with a minimum of 250 km for each calendar day, and a driver night allowance of Rs 1,500 applies on multi-day journeys.
- Delhi to Agra for the day. About 233 km each way on the Yamuna Expressway, so a same-day return is billed on about 466 km: roughly Rs 76,890 Pay Now to Reserve in an E-Class or Rs 1,04,850 Pay Now to Reserve in a GLS or Range Rover, plus expressway tolls. Compare sedan fares on the Delhi to Agra taxi page.
- Delhi to Jaipur one way. About 280 km, so about Rs 46,200 Pay Now to Reserve in an E-Class or Rs 92,400 Pay Now to Reserve in an S-Class, plus tolls and the Rajasthan border permit. Standard cab fares are on the Delhi to Jaipur taxi page.
- Hill stations. Saloons with low ground clearance are not our first suggestion for Shimla or Mussoorie; the luxury SUVs are. Ask the desk before you book the hills in a flagship saloon.
Delhi localities and hotels we collect from
Luxury pickups in the capital come from a predictable set of addresses, and the chauffeur rota is built around them so that a car is rarely more than a short drive from your door. Areas we regularly serve for luxury bookings include:
- Central and diplomatic Delhi: Chanakyapuri, Diplomatic Enclave, Lutyens' bungalow zone, Golf Links, Sunder Nagar, Jor Bagh, Prithviraj Road and the Connaught Place hotels.
- South Delhi: Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Anand Niketan, Shanti Niketan, Westend, Greater Kailash I and II, Defence Colony, Hauz Khas, Panchsheel Park, Saket and Mehrauli.
- The wedding belt: Chhatarpur, Sultanpur, Sainik Farms, Rajokri, Kapashera, Bijwasan and the Mandi Road farmhouses.
- West and North: Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Civil Lines and Model Town.
- Airport and convention zone: Aerocity, Mahipalpur, Dwarka Sector 25 (Yashobhoomi) and Pragati Maidan (Bharat Mandapam).
- NCR: Golf Course Road, Cyber City and DLF phases in Gurgaon, and Sectors 15 to 18 and 44 in Noida. Everyday cabs for those cities are on the taxi service in Gurgaon and taxi service in Noida pages.
If your address is outside these areas, the booker still quotes a fixed fare; the package simply starts from your door.
Chauffeur-driven luxury car or self-drive in Delhi?
Several websites offer luxury cars in Delhi on a self-drive basis, and some visitors wonder whether that is cheaper. It can be, on paper. In practice the comparison looks like this:
| Question | Chauffeur-driven (RutzIndia.com) | Self-drive luxury rental |
|---|---|---|
| Who handles Ring Road traffic and the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road jams | A local chauffeur who drives these roads daily | You |
| Security deposit | None beyond the booking payment | Usually a large refundable deposit |
| Parking at embassies, hotels and farmhouses | Chauffeur drops at the porch and waits | You search for a slot and walk |
| Damage and challan risk | Carried by the operator | Carried by the renter |
| Drinking at the reception | Not a concern; someone else is driving | Not an option |
| Working or resting between meetings | Yes, from the rear seat | No |
For an overseas executive or a wedding family, the chauffeur model is almost always the better value once deposits, parking and risk are counted. That is why RutzIndia.com rents luxury cars in Delhi only with a driver.
Is luxury car rental in Delhi worth it?
For a routine commute, no; a premium sedan or an Innova Crysta in Delhi will do the job for a fraction of the cost. A luxury car earns its price when the passenger's time, comfort or image matters more than the fare: the first ride after a fourteen-hour flight, a meeting where arriving composed is part of the pitch, the one photograph at a wedding that the family will frame. It also makes sense when you compare it with the alternative of owning: a Delhi family that needs an S-Class for four evenings in the wedding season spends a small fraction of what running one for a year would cost. The trick is to rent the right class for the right hours, and our desk will tell you honestly when a smaller car or shorter package would serve you just as well.
Chauffeur standards for Delhi luxury hire
A luxury car with an average driver is an expensive taxi. Chauffeurs placed on our Delhi luxury bookings are police-verified, uniformed, and briefed on the passenger, the itinerary and any protocol before the duty starts.
What that standard means on the ground:
- Dress: a dark suit or safari uniform, polished shoes and a clean-shaven or neatly groomed look; winter duties add a dark overcoat for the kerb.
- Vetting: identity and address checks, police verification and a valid commercial driving licence before the first luxury duty.
- Briefing: passenger name, flight or event details, dress code of the venue and any security instructions are shared the evening before.
- Conduct: no smoking in or near the car, no loud calls, music only on request, and discretion about who was in the car and where they went.
- Rest: on long wedding nights and multi-day tours, duty hours are planned so that the chauffeur has proper rest before the next early start. They are expected to know the city's security-heavy zones, keep the phone off the dashboard except for navigation, open doors, handle luggage and stay with the car during meetings unless told otherwise.
Cars are washed and sanitised before each duty, carry bottled water, and are within four model years of age, with Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach allowed up to seven. Every car on our Delhi luxury roster is a BS-VI vehicle, which matters in winter when air-quality restrictions tighten on older diesel vehicles.
The vehicle-age rule
Our rule is short and it is not negotiable: every saloon, SUV and MPV sent on a luxury duty is within four model years of age. The only exceptions are Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach, which may be up to seven model years old, because these cars are built to be kept longer and are rarely available new for hire. In practice that means you will not be offered a tired, previous-generation 7 Series with sagging rear seats at a new-car price, and that the infotainment, rear climate control and safety systems in your car are current. If the model year matters to you, for a photo shoot or a brand event where the car must match a particular look, ask the desk and we will confirm it before you pay.
Cars that leave Delhi for Agra, Jaipur or the hills travel under the appropriate tourist permit; details of commercial vehicle permits are published on the government's Parivahan portal, and state entry charges are added to your bill at cost.
How booking works
- Choose the class, the package (4 hr / 40 km, 8 hr / 80 km, airport transfer or outstation) and the pickup time on the online booking page.
- See the fixed fare, then pay by card or UPI through the booker. Corporate clients can ask for a GST invoice with the company GSTIN.
- You receive the car and chauffeur details before the duty. For weddings and multi-car movements, WhatsApp the desk and we confirm the plan in writing.
Cancellation is free until 72 hours before pickup. Within 72 hours a 10% charge applies, rising to 50% within 48 hours and 100% within 24 hours or on a no-show. The full cancellation policy explains how refunds are processed.
Browse all classes on the fleet page and see how packages are calculated on the fares page. Families flying in from abroad for a wedding season can arrange a car for their whole stay through NRI car hire in India, and grooms who have their heart set on a particular badge will find more on BMW for wedding. If you need an everyday car rather than a luxury one, see the taxi service in Delhi and car rental with driver in Delhi pages, or browse the national luxury car rental guide for other cities. Regular executive travel for a company is best set up through corporate car rental, with monthly billing.
Parking inside Delhi hotels, malls and venues is charged at actual cost. Where a venue charges the chauffeur for parking during a long event, the receipt is added to your final invoice.
