A Delhi wedding is a moving thing. The baraat moves, the families move between the mehendi at home, the sangeet at a hotel and the pheras at a farmhouse, and three hundred guests move from Aerocity to Mehrauli and back at hours when the city is only half awake. Wedding car rental in Delhi from RutzIndia.com covers the whole of it: the groom's car, the bride's car, cars for both sets of parents, and the Innovas and Travellers that quietly carry everyone else. Every car comes with a uniformed chauffeur, and the fare is fixed before you pay.

3-hour, 5-hour and 8-hour prices with decoration style
Most couples do not need a car for a full day; the groom's arrival might take three hours, the bride's entry and exit five. The table prices every wedding car in three blocks. The 3-hour slot is our 4 hr / 40 km package, the 5-hour slot adds one-eighth of the full-day fare to it and allows 50 km, and the 8-hour slot is the 8 hr / 80 km day. Decoration is shown as the style couples usually pick for that car; it is quoted separately, to your florist's design.
| Car | 3 hours | 5 hours, 50 km | 8 hours, 80 km | Decoration most often chosen |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 | Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve | about Rs 27,180 Pay Now to Reserve | Rs 37,500 Pay Now to Reserve | Rose-and-rajnigandha bonnet heart with door garlands |

All figures are before 5% GST. If the day runs beyond the booked block, extra kilometres are billed at the car's per-km rate and extra time at the hourly rate the booker shows. Rolls-Royce and vintage cars are priced by model and date, so we quote them individually rather than show a range we cannot guarantee. For the ultra-luxury options see Rolls-Royce for wedding and our BMW for wedding page.
Guest-fleet bundles for Delhi weddings
Guest movement is usually the biggest line on a wedding transport bill, and the easiest to get wrong. These bundles are priced on the 8 hr / 80 km day for each vehicle, which suits a single wedding day; add a day for each extra function.
| Bundle | Travelling guests | Vehicles | Price for the day before GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Close family | up to 40 | 2 Tempo Travellers and 2 Innova Crysta | Rs 64,200 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Full wedding | up to 80 | 4 Tempo Travellers and 4 Innova Crysta | Rs 1,28,400 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Grand celebration | up to 150 | 2 luxury coaches, 3 Tempo Travellers, 6 Innova Crysta | Rs 2,78,100 Pay Now to Reserve |
| Elders' comfort | parents and grandparents | 2 Force Urbania and 2 Toyota Vellfire | Rs 1,62,000 Pay Now to Reserve |
The guest count assumes not everyone travels at the same moment; vans run loops. For evening weddings that stretch past midnight, the 12-hour option works out at one and a half times the day fare plus 40 km at the per-km rate, for example about Rs 32,370 Pay Now to Reserve for a Tempo Traveller and about Rs 21,180 Pay Now to Reserve for an Innova. Our Innova Crysta on rent in Delhi and Tempo Traveller in Delhi pages have more detail on the guest vehicles.

A Delhi wedding day, hour by hour
A typical winter wedding at a South Delhi farmhouse runs roughly like this. The car plan follows the timeline, not the other way round.
| Time | What happens | Cars on duty |
|---|---|---|
| 10 am to 2 pm | Guests arrive at IGI Terminal 3; hotel check-ins in Aerocity | Innovas and a Traveller on airport runs |
| 4 pm | Florist decorates the groom's car at the hotel or home | Groom's car, chauffeur on site |
| 6:30 pm | Guests leave hotels for the venue | Travellers begin loops |
| 7:30 pm | Groom departs for the janwasa | Groom's car and family cars |
| 8:30 to 10 pm | Baraat procession, milni and jaimala at the gate | Cars parked in reserved bays |
| 10 pm to 1 am | Dinner; elders return to hotels | Vellfire and Innovas shuttle elders |
| 1 am to 4 am | Pheras for close family | Bride's car and two family cars wait |
| 4 to 5 am | Vidaai; the couple leaves for the groom's home | Bride's car; one Innova follows with bags |
Because the evening and night duties together exceed eight hours, the bride's car and the family cars are usually booked on the 12-hour option or as two blocks, one for the evening and one for the vidaai.
Three sample Delhi wedding fleets
Every wedding is different, but most Delhi families land close to one of these three plans. Prices are before GST and decoration.
The classic farmhouse wedding
- Groom's baraat car: Mercedes E-Class, 4 hours, Rs 22,500 Pay Now to Reserve
- Bride's vidaai car: Mercedes S-Class, 8 hours, Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve
- Four Innova Crystas for both families, 8 hours each, Rs 50,400
- Two 12-seat Tempo Travellers for guests from the hotel, 8 hours each, Rs 39,000
Total: Rs 2,07,900 Pay Now to Reserve for eight vehicles on the wedding day.
The intimate hotel wedding
- One S-Class for the couple across the day, Rs 96,000 Pay Now to Reserve
- One Vellfire for the parents, Rs 54,000 Pay Now to Reserve
- Two Innovas for close family, Rs 25,200 Pay Now to Reserve
Total: Rs 1,75,200 Pay Now to Reserve, ideal for a Lutyens' Delhi hotel ceremony with under a hundred guests.
The grand three-day celebration
A Rolls-Royce for the pheras and vidaai (quoted on request), a Range Rover for the groom's entry, Vellfires for both sets of parents, eight to ten Innovas on daily duty from mehendi to reception, and three or four Travellers or a Volvo coach for guest movement between Aerocity hotels and the venue. The travel desk builds these plans with a day-by-day schedule and a single invoice.

Delhi's wedding venues and what they mean for the cars
Where you marry shapes the car plan more than the guest count does.
- Chhattarpur, Mehrauli and Satbari farmhouses. The heart of the South Delhi wedding circuit, strung along Mandi Road, the Chhattarpur-Satbari belt and the lanes off the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road. Driveways are long and gravelled, gates are narrow, and on the busiest dates several baraats share the same approach road. Our chauffeurs reach the janwasa, the groom's starting point, an hour early and position the baraat car so the procession can turn without reversing.
- Westend Greens, Rajokri and Kapashera. The farmhouses near the airport and NH48 are popular with Gurgaon families and NRIs who fly in; guests at Aerocity hotels are 15 to 25 minutes away.
- Bijwasan and the Dwarka Expressway side. Larger lawns and banquet complexes; plan for long internal walks from the parking area.
- Lutyens' Delhi and Chanakyapuri hotels. Grand ballrooms at the heritage hotels on Mansingh Road, Sardar Patel Marg and Diplomatic Enclave. Porches are tight and hotel security controls the forecourt, so the couple's car is staged with the concierge.
- GT Karnal Road, Pitampura and Rohini banquets. North and west Delhi's wedding halls, with better parking but heavier traffic on the Ring Road in the evenings.
Wherever the venue, share the address, gate number and the name of the event manager a few days ahead. The chauffeur will call the manager before arriving.
Farmhouse parking deserves its own word. Most South Delhi farmhouses run valet parking on wedding nights, but hero cars should never be handed to a valet: our chauffeur stays with the Mercedes or the Rolls-Royce in a reserved spot near the gate, ready for the photographs and the exit. Ask the venue to reserve two or three bays for the couple's and parents' cars when you confirm the booking.
The baraat: timing, route and the groom's car
The baraat is the part of a Delhi wedding everyone remembers and the part that most often runs late. The groom usually leaves home or the hotel in the decorated car, reaches the janwasa near the venue, and then transfers to the ghodi or a decorated open vehicle for the procession with the band and dhol. The car then drives round to the venue gate to be ready for photographs, or waits for the family's return.
Practical points our chauffeurs follow:
- Arrive early and decorated. Flowers are fixed in the afternoon so the car is ready an hour before departure.
- Walk the route. The chauffeur checks the lane from the janwasa to the gate for turning space and parked cars before the procession starts.
- Keep the pace. During the procession the car follows at walking pace or waits, never forcing through dancing relatives.
- Respect the 10 pm limit. Noise rules require amplified music outdoors to stop at 10 pm, and police do enforce it on busy dates. Plan the milni and varmala around it.
For groom entries that need real theatre, a vintage convertible or a Rolls-Royce for the wedding is the showpiece; see also our vintage car for wedding page for classic open tourers.
Decoration, dress and the bride's vidaai
Decoration is arranged to your theme, from a simple bonnet garland of roses and rajnigandha to a full floral canopy. It is quoted separately because it depends entirely on the flowers you choose; the florist fixes it with tape and suction mounts that do not mark the paintwork. On luxury and ultra-luxury cars we avoid anything that needs wire or glue on the body.
The vidaai, often in the early hours, is the most emotional drive of the wedding and usually the shortest. A Mercedes S-Class or Rolls-Royce with a smooth, silent cabin gives the bride a quiet few minutes. In December and January, fog can reduce visibility to a few metres after midnight; the chauffeur drives slowly and uses the low-beam fog lamps, and the family should allow extra time for the drive to the groom's home. All our cars are within four model years, and Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach models within seven.
Guest transport, airport arrivals and the hotels
Guest logistics are where Delhi weddings go wrong. Out-of-town relatives land at IGI Terminal 3 over two or three days, stay at Aerocity or in South Delhi, and need to reach the mehendi, the sangeet and the wedding on time.
- Airport pickups: flight tracking and a name board, with 60 minutes' free waiting after international flights and 30 minutes after domestic flights. Our Delhi airport taxi page lists sedan fares for single guests.
- Guest shuttles: Tempo Travellers in Delhi at Rs 19,500 Pay Now to Reserve for 8 hours run loops between hotels and the venue, timed to the schedule.
- Family cars on call: Innova Crysta cars in Delhi at Rs 12,600 a day are the backbone of most wedding fleets: comfortable for six, plenty of boot space for lehenga bags and gifts.
- Dignitaries and elders: a Vellfire or an E-Class from our luxury car rental in Delhi range, with the chauffeur briefed on who to collect and when.
The Delhi Traffic Police publish advisories on its traffic website for road closures on busy wedding nights and during events in central Delhi.
Which car suits which role
For the groom's arrival most Delhi families choose a Mercedes E-Class or a Range Rover: formal, photogenic and easy to decorate. A Mercedes on rent is the classic; a Range Rover on rent gives height and presence on a farmhouse driveway.
For the bride the S-Class is the favourite for its silent, spacious rear cabin, which matters when the lehenga is heavy and the vidaai is emotional. A Rolls-Royce is the statement choice when available.
For parents and grandparents a Toyota Vellfire is the most comfortable: reclining captain chairs, a sliding door and a low step.
For photography a vintage convertible, used for an hour at the venue or on a pre-wedding shoot, gives the pictures everyone remembers; it is usually not the car for a long drive across the city.
For the doli party and helpers Innovas carry trunks, return gifts and relatives, and keep the luxury cars free for the couple.
Arrivals at IGI for wedding guests
Out-of-town guests usually land at Terminal 3 over the two days before the wedding. We meet each flight with a name board, track delays and wait 60 minutes free after international arrivals and 30 minutes after domestic ones. Aerocity hotels are 10 to 15 minutes away; South Delhi hotels 40 to 60 minutes in evening traffic. The airport operator's Delhi airport website lists terminal assignments by airline, which helps when guests arrive on several carriers. Single guests can travel in a sedan from our Delhi taxi service; families and groups in Innovas or Travellers.
When to book and how the season works
Delhi's wedding season runs from late October to February, with a second, smaller wave in April and May. The most auspicious dates, around Dev Uthani Ekadashi in November and the peak dates of December and February, see dozens of weddings on the same night in South Delhi alone, and luxury cars, Rolls-Royces and vintage cars sell out months ahead. Book the hero cars as soon as the date is fixed; Innovas and Travellers can follow a few weeks later. Winter also brings GRAP pollution measures; all our cars meet current emission norms. NRI families planning from abroad can read about the city on the official Delhi Tourism site.
How booking and payment work
- Send the date, venue and event schedule through the RutzIndia.com booker or to the travel desk.
- We propose a fleet plan with fixed fares before GST; you approve it and pay online by card or UPI, with a GST invoice if needed.
- Two days before the wedding you receive every chauffeur's name, car number and duty sheet.
- On the day, one coordinator on our side tracks every car; call us or WhatsApp the desk with any change.
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before the first pickup. Inside 72 hours we retain 10% of the booking value, inside 48 hours 50%, and inside 24 hours or for any car not used, the full fare. Wedding dates rarely move, but when they do, read our cancellation policy for how date changes are handled.
