Hyderabad carries no city factor, so these are the national base rates, in rupees and before 5% GST. Two classes are missing from the grid only for width: a Honda City or Verna class sedan costs Rs 10,800 Pay Now to Reserve for a full day, and a Tempo Traveller for twelve to twenty-six people is Rs 19,500 Pay Now to Reserve. Three ways people use a chauffeur in Hyderabad
The HITEC City and Financial District workday
A typical corporate day starts in Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills, crosses to a 9.30 am meeting in Madhapur, moves to the Financial District at Nanakramguda for lunch, and ends back in the city for dinner. The distances are short, perhaps 45 to 60 km, but the Cyber Towers and Biodiversity junction jams mean the clock does the work. An 8-hour package with an extra hour is usually enough. Companies with regular visitors can bill all of it on one GST invoice through corporate car rental.
The Old City and heritage day
Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Chowmahalla Palace, the Salar Jung Museum and Mecca Masjid sit close together but in tight, crowded lanes where parking is scarce. The chauffeur drops you as close as traffic allows and waits in a legal spot. In the afternoon, head west to Golconda Fort for the sound-and-light show and then the Qutb Shahi Tombs. The site visit to Genome Valley or the industrial belt
Pharma, biotech and manufacturing clients often need to visit Genome Valley near Shamirpet, the pharma units around Pashamylaram and Jeedimetla, or the new industrial parks beyond the Outer Ring Road. Package maths: extra hours, extra km and the 12-hour day
Both limits in a package, hours and kilometres, run from the moment the chauffeur reports at your pickup point until you release him at the drop point. Go beyond either and the difference is billed at your car's class rate: per km at the outstation rate, per hour at roughly one-eighth of the 8-hour price.
Example: a Dzire picks you up in Gachibowli at 8 am for a Genome Valley visit and a stop in Secunderabad, and drops you back at 5 pm after 96 km. Nine hours against a package of eight means Rs 900 for the hour over; 96 km against 80 means 16 km at Rs 36, or Rs 580. Wedding families, film crews and long conference days usually choose the 12-hour row in the grid above. It is built from the full-day package with four hours and 40 km added at the normal overage rates, so there is no separate tariff to learn. Planning around the ORR, PVNR Expressway and the lakes
Hyderabad's road network rewards a driver who knows it. The Outer Ring Road loops round the city and lets a chauffeur jump from the Financial District to Shamshabad, Shamirpet or Uppal without crossing the centre, at the cost of a toll that is passed on at actual value. The PVNR Expressway lifts traffic over Mehdipatnam on the way to the airport. Inside the ring, Necklace Road and Tank Bund around Hussain Sagar link Secunderabad to Khairatabad, and the flyovers along the Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills roads cut through a hilly, twisting grid.
What this means for your package: cross-city legs are usually quicker on the ORR even when they are longer, so a day that moves between Genome Valley in the north and the Financial District in the west may use more kilometres than the map suggests while saving an hour. Your chauffeur picks the route; the invoice shows the kilometres driven and every toll receipt, so you can see exactly why a day came out as it did.

Why not self-drive or app rides?

Airport runs from Shamshabad
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport lies about 30 km south of Banjara Hills, reached quickly via the PVNR Expressway or the Outer Ring Road. If you land into a working day, the chauffeur watches your flight status and stands in arrivals with your name on a board. International passengers get an hour of free waiting and domestic passengers half an hour, counted from touchdown; beyond that the clock simply runs at the car's hourly rate. Railway stations and convention venues
Hyderabad's long-distance trains arrive at four stations, and each is on a different side of the city. Secunderabad Junction is the busiest and sits north of Hussain Sagar; Hyderabad Deccan at Nampally is close to Abids and the Assembly; Kacheguda serves many trains to and from the south; and Lingampally, on the western edge, is closest to HITEC City and Gachibowli. Conventions and exhibitions at HICC and HITEX in Madhapur draw delegates from across the country, and the traffic around Cyber Towers on those days is heavy. Outstation weekends: Warangal, Srisailam, Vijayawada and Nagarjuna Sagar
Leave the city and the meter changes to kilometres: every calendar day away counts for at least 250 km, even if the car spends an afternoon parked at a temple town. Overnight trips add Rs 1,500 a night for the chauffeur's food and lodging, and Andhra Pradesh or Karnataka permits and highway tolls are passed on exactly as paid. Some sample fares before GST:
- Warangal day trip in a Dzire: about 300 km to the Thousand Pillar Temple, Warangal Fort and Ramappa and back, so 300 x Rs 36 = Rs 10,800 Pay Now to Reserve.
- Srisailam over two days in an Innova Crysta: about 430 km, which is less than the 500 km that two days guarantee, so the bill is 500 x Rs 57.6 = Rs 28,500 plus one night for the driver. The last stretch runs through the Nallamala forest, where the road is closed to traffic at night, so we time departures accordingly.
- Vijayawada and back in one long day: about 550 km, so 550 x Rs 36 = Rs 19,800 Pay Now to Reserve in a Dzire. If you only need to be dropped, Hyderabad to Vijayawada taxi bills the one-way distance only.
- Ramoji Film City: about 35 km out on the Vijayawada highway, so it is usually billed as a local 8-hour day rather than outstation.

Seasons, festivals and wedding months
Hyderabad summers from April to early June are hot, so plan outdoor sightseeing for mornings and let the car's air-conditioning carry you through the afternoon. Bonalu in July or August and Ganesh immersion at Hussain Sagar in September bring road closures around Tank Bund and the Old City.
